Every experiment has a pay-off. Ours was we did not anticipate the incredible efficiency, the optimal growing conditions of a chinampas garden! My usual expectations are that one or two seeds at best for every half dozen sown will germinate and survive transplanting. I also wanted to keep everything in straight line furrows so we could have the most "control" over our experiment. So much for that! The remaining beans at right need to be thinned even more.
